Welcome to Heron island. Today we saw baby sea turtles hatching as soon as we arrived. What a great welcome. But the pesky seagulls caught and ate several baby turtle hatchlings.
On our last day we saw a large shovel nose shark, eagle rays black tip reef sharks and a sea turtle. Totally awesome trip to the island…..

Baby sea turtles! How cute they are. We understand how the food chain works in an ecosystem, and that they will always be prey and predators in order to sustain the health of the whole ecosystem. Thanks for sharing such touching moments of new life in the world of sea animals.

I really enjoy your background, it is really pretty. I love baby turtles there so cute. Those seagulls should pick on someone their size. I have pet a stingray once when I went to Sea Life Park (In Hawaii). I wish I could see all those creatures that you saw. What is your favorite animal? Mine is a unicorn and foxes.
